Alice's case. (Il caso di Alice)

Alice's case. ( Il caso di Alice)  T. Carbone. Ricerca Psicoanalitica. 3/2012, p. 99-118

Summary

Alice’s case concerns a young woman suffering from panic attacks when her husband leaves her alone. The picture of a fragile personality emerges, reinforced by a particular relational strategy: to make herself indispensable to others in exchange for the meaning of existence, not supported by the perception of her own independent agency. The therapist has scrupulously annotated his inner experiences, and the therapeutic dialogue. In this way was able to present to the intervision of colleagues a  very complete material. The unique dream with clear transference implications brought by the patient after three years of therapy is crucial in the discussion.
