Summary
If,
for Freud, theoretical foundation of the therapeutic action of interpretation
was the observation considered objective (analysis) of the unconscious, in a
post-modern, constructionist-relational vision, the main idea of the therapeutic
action has become a therapeutic relationship, able to support a re-arrangement
of a fixed repertoire of interactions–relationsips and
forecasts-expectations-strategies: in other words, a negotiation, or a more
advantageous to the analysand re-negotiation. The negotiation is viewed along a
continuum modeling the organization of living systems, where, in the most basic
forms is a tendency to put together self-organization and interaction with the
environment, while, in more complex forms it becomes the activity in which
human subjects engage in relationships with other human subjects, using
implicit, and later explicit, mental processes. Even conscience’s expression is
seen in the interactive implicit-explicit continuum, and renegotiation of decisions
about specific issues “not to prosecute” through implicit- procedural channels,
makes therapeutic relationship a factor promoting analysand’s capacity to renegotiate
with the analyst new conscious, previously impassable meanings: in other words,
and expansion of self-conscience.
